Zoë Rouse is a freelance designer and visual artist working in theatre, film and installation. Currently based in Melbourne, Australia, Zoë is a Victorian College of the Arts Production School Alumni and a Green Room nominee for her work on Turtle Lab’s production of I am the Wind, directed by Sapidah Kian.
Specialising predominantly in costume, Zoë’s work embraces set, props and scenic art. More of her recent design credits include films Dave’s Dead, directed by Alethea Jones and Stella and Smiley, directed by Nick Pollock. Love Me Tender by Tom Holloway with Mutation Theatre. Shotgun Wedding by NO Show Theatre for Next Wave Festival 2012 and The Seizure by The Hayloft Project.
She is currently in rehearsals with The Daniel Schlusser Ensemble as part of Melbourne Theatre Company’s independent festival NEON.
